Hideout
Let’s build us a garden
Where times are not so hard and the
Things that we grow seem to last
Let’s move to the woods and
Trade for our goods and
Bury the seeds of the past
We’ll hang up our coats and
Build us a moat
We’ll toast to our host and break bread
And dress to the nines and
Hang up a sign that reads
"Warning: Good Times Ahead"
And have great night out
At our hide out
We can scream and shout
At our hide out
Open a window
Let deep thoughts within go
Out on the breeze with the leaves
We’ll learn how to fly
Get lost in the sky and
Spend all our days thick as thieves
We’ll write our own laws and
Work for applause
Arrive and depart as we please
We’ll rename the seasons
And blend rhyme with reason
And fashion a hut by the sea
And have great night out
At our hide out
We can scream and shout
At our hide out
