Saturday, May 9th we are throwing a Gecko Graduation Party in downtown Boston at Kennedy’s! Brad, Luke, and Eric are all graduating in May, and we intend to party down and celebrate Gecko style!

Also, some bad news: Due to the rough economy, Walley’s had a really hard time making ends meet up here in Boston, and after this show he’ll be moving back to South Carolina. This is by no means the end of Gecko with Walley, but it will be our last show with him for a while… so this is also a GOING AWAY PARTY FOR WALLEY! Come out and wish him well!

This show was for Luke’s Senior Concert, and due to the Bill’s Bar show the next night, the show was almost a secret.

After months of waiting, my guitar parts finally showed up! Chambered Semi Hollow Walnut body, Satin Walnut neck, ebony fretboard…this guitar is a dream!

This summer is off to a great start! I’ve got a bunch of tunes in the works, and Relics is almost fully recorded- it’s really shaping up. This afternoon Aaron and I worked on Mike’s Song and Weigh, two Phish tunes we both love (if you haven’t heard either you MUST check out Slip, Stich and Pass). We’re planning to get the whole “Mike’s Groove” thing happening for the fall. This evening Joe and I worked on some tunes, and I laid out the arrangement for a tune I wrote call “Wounded Dreamer”. I really like the way it’s shaping up.
